Actress Raven Symoné finally comes out of the closet

Last year multimillionaire actress
Raven-Symoné tweeted that she
could finally get married after Rhode
Island legalized same sex marriage
which many interpreted to mean that
she's a lesbian. Now she's officially
said she's in a relationship with a
woman.

Raven owned up to her truth last
night on Oprah Winfrey's 'Where Are
They Now';
"I’m in an amazing relationship
with my partner - a woman -
and on the other side, my

family have taught me to keep
my personal life to myself as

One of the Oshadipe Twins, Taiwo, died in the early hours of Friday October 3rd. Her manager, Olu Akinsanya, speaking for the first time about her sudden death, said she might have died of complications arising from chest-related pains. Speaking to exclusively to The Nation, Olu said she was ill about a month ago and was admitted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, and was given some medications. “The illness wasn’t serious. She felt better when she started taking the drugs. But surprisingly, she suffered a relapse this week. On Wednesday, she called her doctor who treated her at LASUTH and was told to come over to his private hospital, as he wouldn’t be around at LASUTH until Friday. She went to the hospital where the doctor carried out some medical checks on her and gave her some drugs. He also gave her an appointment for Friday. Woman jailed for cutting houseboy with razor blade, another sentenced to 2 years for buying a baby- NAPTIP

The Violence against Persons (Prohibition) Act, 2015 has recorded its first casualty as a Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Kubwa, Abuja has sentenced a 29 year old housewife, Mrs. Onyekachi Okafor to 9 Months imprisonment for violating aspects of the Act. This is coming on the heels of the conviction of Mrs. Mavis Solomon by a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, River State presided over by Justice A. Liman. Mrs. Solomon was charged by NAPTIP to Court for purchasing a 10 Months old baby at the cost of N200, 000 from 2 others who are also under prosecution. The offence is contrary to Section 21 of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act, 2015. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment.
