Nollywood Actress Speaks On Why Her Marriage Crashed

Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has revealed the real reason she decided to quit her five-year old marriage.


Contrary to speculation that her marriage crashed over alleged infidelity,  Ini Edo explained via a tweet that the marriage crashed as a result of irreconcilable differences.

Philip Ehiagwinani, her ex-husband had accused her of cheating on him but Vanguard reports that the popular actress denied the allegation starting she had never cheated on her spouse since they got married.



She confirmed breaking up with her husband via a tweet “There is a conscious and malicious attempt at tarnishing my image. This saga is familiar, let’s not forget the past. Thanks and God bless.” the tweet stated.

The actress and her husband, Philip Ehiagwina, got married five years ago. Ini and her US-based spouse lived separately before they decided to formally split early August.

There are insinuations that the Hollywood actress returned her bride price in 2008. While her husband is reported to have removed Ini from his Instagram page, Ini is said to have done same for Philip on her social networking accounts.
