Nigerian Police– ‘It is only those involved in the hoarding and diverting of petroleum products that will be arrested’
In a new statement released, the Nigerian Police have clarified their position on a statement released days ago which implied that IGP Arase had ordered Zonal Assistant Inspectors-General of Police, Commissioners of Police & other officers to arrest anybody found selling petroleum products in plastic containers. Apparently, the directive was to arrest those involved in hoarding and diversion of fuel. The statement reads,
