American returnee also robbed in traffic in Lagos (photos)


This person was robbed in traffic at the famous Obalende round-about at around11:00 pm on his way from the airport coming back from New York. One of them spotted his luggage at the back seat and decided to make an attempt for it. They broke the window but the driver managed to speed off before they could grab the bag. So a satirical online website falsely quoted former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, as saying:  'I’m telling you, I’ve been saying it for years, but nobody’s listening – slavery wasn’t forced onto African-Americans, they accepted it willingly.'
